Dr. Nolan Gasser — local composer, pianist, author, musicologist and architect of Pandora genome project — is celebrating the release of his new book, “Why You Like It: The Science and Culture of Musical Taste.” In this sweeping and authoritative book, Gasser breaks down what musical taste is, where it comes from, and what our favorite songs say about us.
